Spring is here! The new spring newsletter has also been added to the "Newsletter" section to the right and will be mailed out to residents shortly. The township’s clean-up day will be held June 10th this year and we will be accepting items from 8AM to 11AM. So, when you are doing your spring cleaning keep in mind this is a convenient way to get rid of the many items that have piled up around your garage or yard during the fall and winter. Your Spring newsletter will also have this information as well as items that can be accepted and is on the way if you have not already received it.
The cemetery reopened on April 1. Keep in mind there is no perpetual care at the cemetery so it is up to families/friends to care for their appropriate graves. There is a barrel provided for old plastic, wood and wire as well as a spot for leaves and grass. Please only use these appropriate spots for disposal of these items or take them with you for proper disposal. Our Cemetery Committee will meet May 19th at 9:00 am. Any questions or comments can be sent by mail or email to the Township Hall if you cannot attend the meeting.
The cost for Dust Control for Wilber Township will be the same as it was in 2022: $102 for 300 feet. Please make checks payable to Wilber Township, and mail to 3120 Sherman Road, East Tawas, Michigan.
We are now moving forward upgrading our internet to Starlink service and at present are using both the email addresses at the bottom. Please use the new Wilbertownship@gmail.com address now so that nothing is missed when the changeover is completed in the very near future.
We welcome your comments and ideas as to what type of additional information you would like to see posted within Wilber Townships website content.
